Chair of Council

We are seeking to recruit a new Chair of Council here at the University of Huddersfield.  This is a challenging, and exciting, time to be involved in supporting the University to achieve its strategic ambitions and the role of Chair is pivotal to our success. The importance of strong and effective governance is crucial at all times, but particularly so currently, and we are looking to recruit someone with a sound record of non-executive leadership, business acumen and with a keen interest in higher education.

We are committed to ensuring that our governing body is diverse in membership and has a broad coverage of skills and experience to provide effective strategic oversight of all aspects of the University’s business and are particularly keen to hear from women and applicants from a black or minority ethnic background.
